Barbara, Ralf has already provided you with an answer to the <xs:integer> change (that unfortunately happens to be backwards-incompatible). As to your mapping problem, there have been identical questions already here and in Jira. When working towards Castor 1.1, we decided to normalize the way bindings are provided by requiring a leading '/' for any binding, incl. complexType bindings, etc.
