Interesting. Looking at this XML schema, I cannot see an obvious reason
why this should lead to the problem as described by you. As such, can I
please ask you to create a new Jira issue at

http:;//jira.codehaus.org/browse/CASTOR

and attach all relevant files for me to reproduce your problem easily.
Please do have a look at the guidelines at

http://castor.org/how-to-submit-an-xml-bug.html

before creating the issue and supplying me with the relevant attachments.
