Hi
I've got an object graph that I use Castor to marshall. Then I pass on the XML to some third party software that turns the XML into a PDF. If I pass a String containing e.g. '£', Castor converts this to '£'. That's fine by me, but this third party software we are using doesn't seem to recognise that &# values should be converted to their unicode counterparts when displaying on the screen. I just wanted to check that this is standard XML functionality. Castor is doing the right thing here, and this other software doesn't seem to fully implement the XML-spec. That is right, isn't it?
