No, not directly. As it stands rigth now, Castor supports ...
a) generation of Java classes from an XML schema (incl. descriptor classes).
b) generation of DDL scripts from a Castor JDO mapping file.
In other words, there's some functionality lacking, which we would like
to provide a solution for, but don't right now.
There's a few open Jira issues in this area, that talk about ...
a) generation of a JDO mapping file from an (enriched) XML instance
document.
b) support for <xsd:appinfo> elements to denote in an XML schema that
e.g. a JDO-specific class descriptor should be generated as well.
I hope this answers your question, though I can't provide you with a
solution.
