Hi Werner,

last week we just tried to use castor with the latest version of xerces
2.9.1. I don't know why, but the performance increase was dramatic, from 400
ms to 150 ms for parsing one XML file with Schema validation!
But to make it clear, I don't think it is a problem of castor or xerces. I
suspect more the configuration of the server inside the Bea Server is the
problem.
So sorry, that I don't have an explanation for our problem, but at least we
have a solution for it.
