Ronald,

you can always use

org.exolab.castor.xml.Marshaller.setNoNamespaceSchemaLocation(String)

to achieve the desired.

All,

Just prior to me Marshalling a request to the service that I am passing my XML to, I need to add a custom noNamespaceSchemaLocation attribute at the top level. For example, the currently generated XML is something like:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<CreditApplicationResponse>
    <Status>Dummy</Status>
    <Error>
        <text>Dummy</text>
    </Error>
    <ApplicationLabel>dummy</ApplicationLabel>
</CreditApplicationResponse>

and I need it to be

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<CreditApplicationResponse xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"; xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="credAppSynchronous.xsd">
    <Status>Dummy</Status>
    <Error>
        <text>Dummy</text>
    </Error>
    <ApplicationLabel>dummy</ApplicationLabel>
</CreditApplicationResponse>

Is there a way to do this programatically or via a mapping file?
