reading this, it looks to me like you are suffering from a bug .. :-(.
As such, can I please ask you to create a new Jira issue at

http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/CASTOR

and attach all relevant files. Please try to keep things as minimal as
possible, and only include artefacts that are required to showcase the
problem.
