great - I already raised http://jira.springframework.org/browse/SPR-5634
last night.  Perhaps you could comment on it as I'm new to Castor and
may have made some mistakes in that analysis.  I gather OXM is due to be
shipped as part of the core for Spring 3.0 which is why it now exists as
a component in the main JIRA repository.

I'm still unsure why my tests yesterday were failing when using an
extended CastorMarshaller class, which gives access to the Unmarshaller
before use.  I need to try and look into that today.  The class in
question is here:
