Harald, there's already a Jira issue related exactly to this problem. In other words, no need to create a new Jira issue anymore. As far as I know, all relevant files have been attached to replay the problem.
I have been looking in to this already a few days ago, but my biggest limitation currently is time (as one of my commercial projects is about to be launched). Feel free to debug the problem as far as possible. If I were to look at this right now, I'd try to answer the question why FieldHandlers for Dates/BigDecimals are different during unmarshalling.
