It looks like you are logging to file, but if you are using console logging 
than this can significantly reduce performance, particularly on windows - 
minimizing a cmd window will make it run much faster!

Generally though I wouldn't worry about it,

I can only second that statement about the (non-) cost of logging.
Having said that, what kind of degradation are you actually observing ?
Can you share some information with us on this subject ?
