I don't think this is Jetty6-related at all.
Although providing a sample Jetty JNDI DataSource configuration that
is NOT using Cayenne preferences is probably a good idea. A similar
configuration for Tomcat is available here:

I don't have a sample handy. Anyone can fill it in?
