Database change detection?

Hi,
I am using Cayenne 2.0.4 with MySQL.

I want to monitor for ADD, DELETE, and MODIFY events in a specific  
table in my database which will be driven by another application. I  
have not come up with a straightforward way to do this through  
searching the docs. Is there a way to set TRIGGERS in the database  
through Cayenne, for example? Is there some other mechanism that I  
haven't found?

Any guidance would be most appreciated.
