Off-topic for the list but probably relevant for you: I've been hearing lots of bad things about JSF and good things about Apache Wicket. I don't know anything about JSF2 or PrimeFaces though, so YMMV.
The good news is what others said: the presentation layer should be largely unaffected by the persistence layer. Regards, Jo
