Thank you Andrei and Bob!
Short summary of http://community.livejournal.com/ru_java/958646.html and others (about java web frameworks): 1. Some people know about Click, but not so many. Just because no information available. For example, I can't find click related articles, blogs or discussions in Russian (other than mine). But those who use Click, really love it! ;-) 2. popular choice for classic web development: - Spring 3.0 MVC/Struts2 + Velocity/Freemarker/JSP + JQuery - Wicket: one of reasons "it's html is valid", but I prefer Freemarker. And, for example, PHP html isn't valid, but is world's most popular web language. Interesting Scala MVC set of components: http://www.circumflex.ru (with blackjack and hookers ;-) "..is a Scala DSL for quick web application development", uses freemarker for views. I dislike Scala, but this one looks nice. 3. for RIA - popular choice is: GWT, ExtGWT, Vaadin and zkoss Vaadin is Click's big brother. Similar looking source, but very different (stateful, heavy ajax, no html at all). Vaadin is my favorite for desktop-like applications. 4. JSF isn't bad, It worse. 5. All know that Tapestry and Groovy are cool, but their users hard to find in java community -- View this message in context: http://click.1134972.n2.nabble.com/Play-and-Grails-hype-tp5324395p5343991.html Sent from the click-user mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
