Hi Severino,
Currently optimization package is incluided in 1.2-SNAPSHOT of
commons math. Release 1.2 doesn't seems to be available yet, so you
have to checkout the source code from the repository and build yourself
the .jar files.
You can do it just downloading 'pom.xml' from
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/commons/proper/math/trunk/pom.xml
and then use maven to checkout and build the stuff.
