It's most certainly tomcat that is simply launched using jsvc.
You can change all that by modifying the startup script that launches
your tomcat.
But I would not be so sure if your cpu issue would go away with
ditching jsvc.
Then your service provider would just report that the process that uses
a lot of cpu is java.
You just have to debug in your own system the ultimate reason that
causes tomcat to use a lot of cpu.
