There have been signficant performance enhancements since r724455, and the version of Erlang on this box looks old enough to have performance problems as well. "Can you make sure you are running on Erlang R12B-4 or newer?" -- Jan If you get updated to a more recent Erlang, and update CouchDB via svn, you can expect a substantial performance boost.
