This was mentioned earlier this month in the thread "Link to the couchdb
wiki from http://couchdb.apache.org/ ?" by Lars Vange J?rgensen, but I
ran into the issue today. Using for example the Japanese version of
Firefox, the link http://wiki.apache.org/couchdb/ (from the CouchDB
homepage) takes you to the wiki "front page" but in Japanese, which is
just the default MoinMoin information page. Since there are no useful
outgoing links there, there is no way to access the English front page
from this page (I had to manually edit the URL and guess the English was
exactly "FrontPage".)

I would edit the wiki directly but it seems since it is the front page
it is not editable.

This page seems to have information about how to fix this:

http://wiki.apache.org/couchdb/HelpOnLanguages

"Either delete any translated page of FrontPage - they will only be used
if they exist. Or simply use the page_front_page configuration variable
to choose something different from FrontPage as your front page, e.g.
MyProject."
