Hi, I just had the same issue when trying to start couchdb. I believe it is
because the new ssl application in the latest erlang version has some
dependencies (crypto, public_key).
I could solve this issue by adding public_key to the apps started by couchdb in
couch_app.erl
start(_Type, DefaultIniFiles) ->
IniFiles = get_ini_files(DefaultIniFiles),
case start_apps([crypto, sasl, inets, oauth, public_key, ssl, ibrowse,
mochiweb]) of
ok ->
couch_server_sup:start_link(IniFiles);
{error, Reason} ->
{error, Reason}
end.
