View key query

Hi all,

I've been banging my head against the wall with this for ages, can someone 
enlighten me as to why a view entry with the key:

key: [
         2012,
         1,
         13,
         18,
         "theme",
         "observed",
         "Radio Page"
]

Is returned with the query parameters:

startkey=[2012,1,13,0,"metric","31214616cc684011f9e9ea1df9020114"]

endkey=[2012,1,13,23,"metric","31214616cc684011f9e9ea1df9020114",{}]

An example of the key I'm looking for is:

key: [
         2012,
         1,
         13,
         18,
         "metric",
         "31214616cc684011f9e9ea1df9020114",
         16
]

Any help hugely appreciated, thanks!
