Have you read the O’Reilly book, which is online at http://guide.couchdb.org ? It’s got some decent tutorial stuff about how to use views, particularly the “View Cookbook For SQL Jockeys<http://guide.couchdb.org/draft/cookbook.html>” chapter. —Jens
