Thanks, I couldn't find any explaination in the documentation for it. 

Is there a programmatic way of setting those permissions without pulling Futon 
apart?  My use case is for high availability so I'd like to keep those settings 
the same in the environment to handle any failover scenarios.  Invariably 
someone forgets to set a permission in two places.

Security settings remain local, they are deliberately not replicated.
The idea is that the security settings are under the control of the owner of 
the server, it would be inappropriate for someone else to alter security
