+1 for Go. I’ve been using it for about a year now for a project that’s going 
to be released as a product by Couchbase (the Couchbase Sync Gateway). Just be 
aware that the Otto JS interpreter, while stable, isn’t very fast — it’s a pure 
interpreter, not a JIT. It’s been OK for the Sync Gateway so far, but at some 
point we might need to switch to embedding V8 or something like that.
