the view generation process? Exactly Adam. My view generation time is significiently slower than a younger DB with the same number of docs without deletions. I am worried about deleted docs. This is an old in-production DB which I don't have any idea about Purging it! I can't risk damaging my view index files since it will take more than a day for them to be completed again -- --Behrad
