I feel It could be the same thing you mentioned guys, but there's no monitoring process installed on my OS, i can't figure it out who? and why? is couchdb checked or started blindly. my syslog shows nothing. However top shows a second temporar couch beam process coming and dying! I'd never seen this in my Couch instances
