Hi Robert and Garren, thanks a lot for your help. What works is
fauxton -c http://localhost:2001 But I don't think fauxton -p 2001 can work because this is just the port Fauxton is listening on. That's totally different than -c . Or am I missing sth. When giving fauxton -p 2001 with the tunnel I have, I don't see Fauxton but the welcome message - as expected. Garren - in may case fauxton -c http://1.2.3.4:5984 <http://1.2.3.4:5984/> will not work because I need the tunnel ;-). But it's cool to know :D Cheers Andy On 12 May 2015 at 12:34, Garren Smith <[email protected]> wrote: > Also Andy the CouchDB location doesn’t have to be a local instance. > So if the CouchDB instance is on another ip you could do: > > Fauxton -c http://1.2.3.4:5984 <http://1.2.3.4:5984/> > > Cheers > Garren > > > On 12 May 2015, at 12:31 PM, Robert Kowalski <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > Hi Andy, > > > > just use `-p`: > > > > fauxton -p 2001 > > > > or define the full url using `-c` > > > > fauxton -c http://localhost:2001 > > > > > > Best, > > Robert > > > > On Tue, May 12, 2015 at 11:46 AM, Andy Wenk <[email protected]> wrote: > >> Hey Garren and team, > >> > >> first of all many thanks for the npm package.
