Double-check that DNS is actually working.
Look at the CouchDB logfiles for hints here as well.

Ok, I tried to attach the image and that doesn't appear to work. I also tried
to create a gist containing the image and that also did not work.

My current project is attempting to set up a couchdb cluster, but so far that
has failed miserably.
As a fallback, we're trying to set up couchdb replication from one server to a
backup server, but this also does not seem to work. I have couchdb installed
on both machines, one with a fair number of active databases, the other just a
plain fresh installation. No replication is working.
Here is a screenshot of the current state of the replications:

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
