Does Crunch work with OpenJDK8 ?

Has Crunch ever been run on OpenJDK8 and CDH 5.16.1 ?
Would there be any problem ?
Are there any release-notes for Crunch which indicates which versions of
JDK and Hadoop are supported by Crunch ?
