Hi Jae, Please open an issue in Jira if you think there’s a problem and provide a test that shows this behavior if you can. The watcher attempts to create the node every time so that ConnectionStateListener isn’t necessary.

I observed PersistentEphemeralNode was not reinstated on zookeeper outage and I am wondering that why ConnectionStateLister was removed because the old version of PersistentEphemeralNode successfully reinstated its node.
