I understand those 2 points. I was confused with the following comment.

How can this timeout after 20 secs, if the connection timeout is 10
seconds? Also,

Can you explain the  above statement then? As for my understanding, curator
will try all Zookeeper nodes until it connects to an up and running
zookeeper server or until the connection timeout.
