Hi, I'm trying to use drill on windows but failed to start it following the tutorial online. The exception prompted out made me doubt if the failure was caused by, I don't have Hadoop installed on my local machine. Does drill need a %HADOOP_HOME% to run?
I know MR has a sandbox with drill that users can installed with virtual box. Is that the only way without a hadoop? Thanks.
