Hi Ruben,

In order to get your Drill cluster up on EMR the following steps need to be
done:

   - Get the bootstrap files and save them in an s3 bucket from here
   https://github.com/awslabs/emr-bootstrap-actions/tree/master/drill
   - At the "EMR create cluster page" at the very bottom of the page choose
custom bootstrap action and find the "setup_drill" file on your s3 bucket
   - SSH into your Master node
      - set the log level to debug so you can file jiras in case you find
      any errors
      - start up the zookeeper fist
      - start up the drillbit
      - add your storage plugins
      - ssh into your core nodes from your master node and
         - set the log level to debug
         - start up the drillbit on the

Hope this help!

Also please let me know if you are able to add hdfs plugin to MapR Hadoop
distribution available on EMR.

Feel free to get back to me if you faced any problem during the set up!

Cheers,
Alex
