Hi, I'm trying to use Drill to query HDFS. In the drill-override.conf file, I originally left both user impersonation and user authentication disabled. This is the message I got when I issued the "show files" command from my HDFS workspace:
PERMISSION ERROR: SIMPLE authentication is not enabled. Available:[TOKEN, KERBEROS] Then I enabled both user impersonation and user authentication, and I used "bin/drill-conf" to start the Drill shell. This is the message I got: No DrillbitEndpoint can be found Then I disabled user authentication while keeping user impersonation enabled. I could at least start Drill again, but I got the same permission error (i.e. "SIMPLE authentication is not enabled. Available:[TOKEN, KERBEROS]) when I tried accessing HDFS. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with this problem, for I am at my wits' end.
