The version is master is the version that will be available in 1.2. The pushdown is extraordinarily powerful and heavily dependent on Calcite's JDBC Adapter implementation. While there was some discussion on the JIRA about more types of pushdowns, Drill already pushdown a very large number of common structures. If there is a particular enhancement that is important to your use case, you should file a JIRA for it. Realistically, the changes should likely be done as a JIRA in Calcite as opposed to one in Drill (depending on the need).
