I use the drill web interface and also have requested an enhancement through 
jira.

From what I understood with version 1.2 there will be quite some enhancements 
in the area of user handling/login and also query handling.

Taking that the drill 1.2 release should be soon - I heard next week - it will 
soon be on our tables...

I personally had good results so far with visualization tools ... in the Drill 
UI you can see the queries that have been executed.
