Hi Lian, What’s the difference between the apache Kafka and confluent Kafka? I think it's not a problem if the Kafka core extend the apache Kafka. BTW, We are adding a feature to support the confluent schema registry. See also DRILL-5940 <https://github.com/apache/drill/pull/2239>.
