Ouch! Ruthless criticism... I love it!

Think that maybe this is a class project?

Me thinks Adrian needs to read up more on DOM or JDOM, Xerces and
XPathAPI.  The tools are there to do exactly what Adrian wants to do,
and the calls can easily be made in the rules engine and the result can
be tested by a rule to determine whether the XML is valid.
