Hi Ivan - +1 for interest in Spring integration. We are doing a lot with Spring Boot, JdbcTemplate, and JPA because the SpringData approach to providing object persistence by merely creating an empty Interface class is too compelling to ignore.
That said, we have many use cases where we just need to query a SQL DB and get data... and for that EmpireDB would be superb. I look forward to seeing the code you wrote to integrate Spring JdbcTemplate with EmpireDB! -Tim
