Hey Alexander, It seems that this issue occurs when the broker is down and the partition is selecting the new leader AFAIK. There is one JIRA issue I have found, not sure if that's what are You looking for: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-6221
This issue is connected with Kafka itself rather than Flink.
