Hi folks, I have some good news! Notifying the board mailing list of our vote to move Geode to the attic got some attention. Several inactive PMC members and some new folks from the Apache membership have expressed interest in helping with the project.
With this help, we do not need to move Geode to the attic. We have withdrawn the resolution from the next board meeting. I and the other remaining VMware contributors will still need scale back our involvement, so the PMC is in the process of reorganizing and finding a new chair. For those folks who were following the attic vote and offered support, thank you and I'm sorry for the roller coaster ride. I hope this outcome is a welcome surprise, and I hope you will consider staying engaged with Geode. This is a great opportunity to become actively involved and help the project succeed. Thanks, -Dan
