Hi Aaron, I tried it on port 8080 and on port 28080. In both cases I get the same behaviour. By the time I used tcpTrace to figure out what is going on. TcpTrace listens on port 28081 and sends to Geronimo port 28080.
Here is the output of tcpTrace: Request: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- POST /console/portal/j_security_check HTTP/1.1 Host: localhost:28081 User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051111 Firefox/1.5 Accept: text/xml,application/xml,application/xhtml+xml,text/html;q=0.9,text/plain;q=0.8,image/png,*/*;q=0.5 Accept-Language: en-us,de;q=0.8,en;q=0.5,ja;q=0.3 Accept-Encoding: gzip,deflate Accept-Charset: ISO-8859-1,utf-8;q=0.7,*;q=0.7 Keep-Alive: 300 Connection: keep-alive Referer: http://localhost:28081/console/portal/welcome Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded Content-Length: 49 j_username=system&j_password=manager&submit=Login Response: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- HTTP/1.1 408 The time allowed for the login process has been exceeded. Do you start this process by going to http://localhost:8080/console/ or a different URL, perhaps something you've bookmarked?
