No , u can add the resource reference ,
provided u do nest it under the <module> à This is the case when u
have only one deployment plan for the whole application. Else , what u pointed
out remains valid in other cases.

You are trying to add the resource to the EAR
deployment descriptor wich I suppose is not allowed, we have to add the
resource entry to the Web Apps dep desc. i.e. geronimo-web.xml or to the Ejb
dep desc openejb-jar.xml .
Do we have anyway to add resource to entire
application?
