have you ever tried any of the tools for monitoring garbage collection
specifically?
Long time ago I used to use something like GCViewer, that's cool to catch any potential mem leaks in
the app you are using too :-)
Eventually you will need those values to fine tune the JVM (if necessary)
(friendly reminder, the more monitoring you do the more you affect the
performance)
