Hi Mark, Each Entity has a "Required" transaction attribute. The Session Fasade has a "RequiresNew" transaction attribute. A new Transaction should be not started according EJB Spec.
And why it works sometimes (70% of time)? The application works stable till next restart of Ger. AS or till next deployment. I think Geronimo AS ignores sometimes an <enforce-foreign-key-constraints> flag. Could you check it?
