Here is an alternative for your reference.

Remove zh_CN from your language preference of your explorer(IE or
firefox) and keep en_us as the only one.

Take IE7 as an example, do the following:

Tools->Internet Options->on General tab, click languages--> remove
zh_CN from language preferences.
