The 2.2.1 plugin is newer than the 3.0 one. 3.0 was made for 3.0-M1 sometime last summer or autumn. 2.2.1 was made before Christmas following the 2.2.1 release of Geronimo. The plugin uninstall problems due to the Wizard should probably be added to the documentation as it is likely to be a relatively common problem with an easy but not obvious solution.
