Please see the exclusion attached to the Avro dependency for a guide

You still need to find exactly where the dependency is being  pulled or
inherited from. Right now I honestly don't know. There will most likely be
 Maven plugin for that kind of thing. If you find out please let us know.
Is anyone else getting this?
