Hi, I've noticed that Gradle is much slower compared to ant. A build that copies only one file takes ~6 seconds.
Are there any thoughts of focusing on the aspect of performance? What about gradle compiling the gradlefile into a .class file and using it in subsequent builds (if not changed of course)?
