Maybe publish this comparison as 'java build frameworks shootout' and let
other platforms suggest their build? It would be interesting to see how Ant
compares.
Also, ODE (which has a more complex build) had pom.xml once:
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ode/tags/APACHE_ODE_1.0-RC4-INCUBATING/pom.xml.
Maybe compare to that one also? Here the comparison can be in terms of
simplicity of code as well as performance.
