OK, thanks for the info. I'll go with that approach then.

The current Grails build has some Ivy stuff in there, but as far as I
am aware it is currently unused. It may be left over from when someone
was experimenting with it or there may be some other reason. But for
the standard build, we just use what is in the "lib" directory.
Basically, I wouldn't take much notice of the Ivy-related
configuration.
